One who is extremely fixated on gambling cannot think of anything else. He or she will always find the ways and means to bet too much that can lead to ruin. As one continues to gamble a person will have that need to have large sums of money to support his preoccupation.
Without professional help, one can end up in a bad shape when he/she abruptly stops from gambling. A person may become irritable, bad-tempered or even lose his family and friends or his job. Excessive gambling can make a person heavily indebted or swindle or cheat from other people.
